VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.

2. Scope

These terms and conditions govern all distance sales between ORDO and any consumer through the ORDO online store. Placing an order means accepting these terms in full, in the version in force on the day of the order.

3. Products

The essential characteristics of each product are described on its product page. Photographs are as faithful as possible but are not a contractual commitment as to exact colour. Products are offered while stocks last; if an item becomes unavailable after your order, we tell you and refund you in full within 14 days.

4. Prices

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included, excluding shipping costs which are shown to you before you confirm the order. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code. We may change our prices at any time; products are invoiced at the price in force when the order is confirmed.

5. Orders

The sale is concluded when you confirm your order after checking its details and total price and correcting any errors. A confirmation e-mail summarising the order is sent to you. We reserve the right to refuse an order in the event of a previous dispute, an abnormal order or suspected fraud.

6. Payment

Payment is due immediately at the time of the order. Available payment methods are those shown at checkout. Transactions are secured by our payment provider; we never have access to your full card details.

7. Delivery

Products are delivered to the address given at the time of the order. Dispatch within 24 to 48 business hours, tracking sent by e-mail. Shipping: €2.99 per order, free on orders over €50. Delivery times from dispatch:

  • France: 7 to 15 business days
  • European Union: 10 to 20 business days
  • United Kingdom and Switzerland: 10 to 25 business days
  • United States and Canada: 15 to 30 business days
  • Rest of the world: 15 to 30 business days

Under article L.216-1 of the French Consumer Code, if the stated delivery date is exceeded you may require us to deliver within a reasonable additional period and, failing performance, cancel the contract in writing on a durable medium. The refund is then issued no later than 14 days after cancellation.

Risk passes on physical delivery of the product. For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import VAT and carrier handling fees are payable by the recipient.

8. Right of withdrawal

Under article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 days from receiving the product to withdraw, with no need to give reasons and at no penalty.

To exercise it, notify us of your decision by an unambiguous statement to adanis.pro26@gmail.com, or use the model withdrawal form on our dedicated page. Write to us before sending anything back: we give you the return address within 48 business hours.

You must return the product within 14 days of the notification. Direct return costs are yours, unless the product is faulty or we made a mistake. The refund is issued no later than 14 days after we recover the product or you provide proof of dispatch, to the payment method used for the order.

You may be held liable for any depreciation of the product resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and proper functioning. Under article L.221-28 5°, for hygiene reasons brush heads unsealed after delivery cannot be taken back.

A more favourable commercial guarantee — 30 days, with nothing to send back — is added to this legal right. See our refund policy.

9. Legal guarantees

You benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the legal guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). These guarantees are free and apply independently of any commercial guarantee.

The box below is the wording required by French law (annex to article D. 211-2 of the Consumer Code). This is an English translation for information; the French version is the legally binding one.

The consumer has a period of two years from delivery of the goods to obtain the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity in the event that a lack of conformity appears. During this period, the consumer need only establish the existence of the lack of conformity and not the date on which it appeared.

The legal guarantee of conformity obliges the trader, where applicable, to provide all the updates necessary to maintain the conformity of the goods.

The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to have the goods repaired or replaced within thirty days of their request, free of charge and without major inconvenience to them.

If the goods are repaired under the legal guarantee of conformity, the consumer benefits from a six-month extension of the initial guarantee.

If the consumer asks for the goods to be repaired but the seller imposes replacement, the legal guarantee of conformity is renewed for a period of two years from the date the goods are replaced.

The consumer may obtain a reduction of the purchase price while keeping the goods, or terminate the contract and be reimbursed in full against return of the goods, if: 1° The trader refuses to repair or replace the goods; 2° The repair or replacement takes place after a period of thirty days; 3° The repair or replacement causes major inconvenience to the consumer, in particular where the consumer definitively bears the cost of taking back or removing the non-conforming goods, or bears the cost of installing the repaired or replacement goods; 4° The non-conformity of the goods persists despite the seller's unsuccessful attempt to bring them into conformity.

The consumer is also entitled to a reduction in the price of the goods or to termination of the contract where the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or termination. In that case the consumer is not required to ask for repair or replacement first.

The consumer is not entitled to terminate the sale if the lack of conformity is minor.

Any period during which the goods are out of use for repair or replacement suspends the remaining guarantee period until the repaired goods are delivered.

The rights mentioned above result from the application of articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the Consumer Code.

A seller who obstructs in bad faith the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity incurs a civil fine of up to 300,000 euros, which may be increased to 10% of average annual turnover (article L. 241-5 of the Consumer Code).

The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code, for a period of two years from discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the goods are kept, or to a full refund against return of the goods.

10. Complaints and consumer mediation

Any complaint must first be sent to adanis.pro26@gmail.com. We answer within 48 business hours. Under articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, every consumer has the right to use a consumer mediator free of charge to settle a dispute amicably. Our membership of an approved mediator is in progress; the details will be published here as soon as it takes effect.

11. Personal data

How we process your data is described in our privacy policy and legal notice. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL).

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. Under Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012, a consumer resident in the European Union may bring proceedings either in the courts of their own Member State or in those of the seller's domicile. Nothing in these terms prevents the application of the mandatory protective provisions of the consumer's country of habitual residence.
